From October 20 to 31, 2026, Blue Rally Bardenas will take crews in Twingos, 4Ls and 2CVs from the Pyrenees down to the Bardenas Reales desert in Navarre. The race will be tracked live with RaidLine: a public map, shared through a simple link, will let family, sponsors and curious onlookers follow every crew in real time. Here is what to know about Blue Rally Bardenas 2026, and how to follow it from home.

Blue Rally Bardenas 2026 at a glance

Blue Rally Bardenas is an adventure raid with a charitable spirit, run in youngtimers: small, popular cars nobody would picture crossing a desert. That is precisely the point: no prototypes, no over-equipped 4x4s, but Twingos, 4Ls and 2CVs prepared by their own crews, on tracks that give them no favors. Raising funds for charities is part of the adventure, as on the other events in the Blue Rally series.

The setting alone is worth the trip: the Bardenas Reales are a semi-desert landscape of ravines, plateaus and clay chimneys unlike anywhere else in Europe, two hours from the French border. Getting there over Pyrenean passes, in a car more than twenty years old, is what gives the raid its character: simple mechanics, careful navigation and mutual help matter more than horsepower.

Where to follow Blue Rally Bardenas 2026 live

The tracking link will be published before the start on the dedicated page: raidline.net/en/events/blue-rally-bardenas-2026. That is the page to keep at hand: it gathers the event information and will host the live map for the two weeks of racing.

Spectators need nothing to follow along: no app to install, no account to create. The link opens the map in the browser, on a phone or a computer. It shows every crew’s position, updated continuously, with search by name or number to find the car you care about. A family that wants to know where their crew is in the middle of the Bardenas only has to tap a link, the one sent to them on WhatsApp the day before the start.

The two-departure format has a practical consequence for spectators: there will be two weeks of racing to follow, not one. The Twingo edition opens the road on October 20; barely have its crews arrived when the 4Ls and 2CVs set off in turn on the 27th. Tracking will cover both fields, and there is no need to stay glued to the screen: opening the map in the morning at the stage start, then at the end of the day to check that everyone has made it to the bivouac, is enough to live the race at the crews’ pace.

For crews, that same tracking is also a visibility tool: a public link can be shared with relatives, partners and a fundraising page. We covered what a public map changes for family and sponsors in our article on sharing the race live.

The RaidLine setup for the event

The RaidLine app, in the event’s colors, will cover the race with the tracking platform and race control:

Each module is described in detail on the features page. To understand how an organizer sets up this kind of system, our guide to rally raid live tracking is the right place to start.

After Blue Rally Europe 2026, a second date

Blue Rally Bardenas will be the second event from the same organizer tracked with RaidLine, after Blue Rally Europe 2026 in July: 50 crews, ten days of racing and every module in production, from live tracking to a leaderboard plugged into the organizers’ Google Sheet. The full field report is in our event debrief.

The Bardenas change one thing: the terrain. July’s alpine stages give way to desert tracks where mobile coverage is patchy and dust puts the mechanics to the test. That is exactly the kind of conditions offline navigation and continuous tracking were built for, and as in July, we will be supporting the organizers throughout the event.
